WHEN ARE YOU OPEN?
DINNERS Tuesday - Sunday from 530PM till last orders at 830PM (THU/FRI/SAT we take last orders at 930PM).
LUNCHES Tuesday - Sunday 1130AM till last orders at 2PM.
WEEKEND BRUNCHES 9AM till last orders at 1130AM.
ARE YOU BYO?
No. We are fully licensed and specialise in boutique Australian wine.
CAN WE BOOK THE DECK?
No. We don't take bookings for the deck as it is not covered or heated and we can't predict the weather. If you would like to sit out there please note it on your booking but we cannot guarantee that your table will be outside.
HOW DO “SITTINGS” WORK?
Due to high demand we offer two sittings at night. two person tables are allocated 90 minutes while groups of 4 and above have 2 hours. First sitting bookings are available starting at 530, 545, 600, 615 OR 630. Second sittings are available starting at 730 onwards.
DO YOU TAKE BOOKINGS FOR BIG GROUPS?
Yes. For any group of 10 or above we require you to partake in our Chef's Banquet and also will ask for credit card details to hold the booking. We will only charge if you don't give us enough warning on a cancellation.
WHAT IS IN YOUR BANQUET?
The Chef varies the banquet for every table. Just choose between $35/$45 and let us know any dietary requirements. Both are great but the $45 option will include some of our more premium items. NB.
DO YOU CATER FOR DIETARY REQUIREMENTS?
Yes. We take dietary requirements seriously. Gluten free, vegetarian and vegan are all part of our standard menu but we can cater for nearly all requirements if you give us notice. The kitchen does contain allergens so let us know if you have a serious allergic reaction to anything.
AS YOU DON’T DO DESSERT, CAN I BRING A CAKE FOR A BIRTHDAY?
Yes. We charge a $10 per table cakeage fee and ask you still keep to your sitting time.
WHERE BEST TO PARK?
East, Bridge and Church Streets have lots of street parking. Ann and Wickham Streets have even more but watch out for clearways.
DO YOU BOOK OUT HAPPY BOY FOR EXCLUSIVE EVENTS AND RECEPTIONS?
Yes we do… But it can become expensive to have the whole restaurant exclusively - email us with details and we can go from there.
